SEAGAMES 2025

On December 9-19 2025, two of our Indigenous Peoples (IPs) pilot-scholars participated in the 2025 South East Asian Games in Thailand.

We made history and you were part of it!

𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐒 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓: 𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐆𝐋𝐈𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌 𝐁𝐎𝐖𝐒 𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐑 𝐏𝐈𝐋𝐎𝐓𝐒 – After 2 days of non-stop grueling flights for 8 rounds with 2 take-offs each, our Philippine Air Sports National Paragliding Team bows down to exceptional athletes from our neighbor countries, who have superior advantage in skills, trainings, equipment and organization.

It was an honorable defeat because our pilots pushed through until the last round, despite limitations and handicaps.

We triumph in the knowledge that this goes down in Philippine history as the first organized Filipino SEA Games delegation for Air Sports. Our athletes competed against Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, and Laos.

The competition exposed significant vulnerabilities and inspired major improvements for the Filipino Paragliding community. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗨𝗣!
