The United Grassroots and Tribes Paragliding Association (UGATPAC), represented by our founder VIOLET LUCASI, together with the Ambaguio LGU Tourism division, headed by Nuepe Manuel Jr. shared the Skyportβs best practices that helped them win the championships of the first Tourism Champions Challenge (TCC).
Their presentation was the highlight of the event as they inspired other LGUs and PLGUs to become winners through their own projects. The βRegional Orientation on Various Tourism Projectsβ was conducted by the Department of Tourism (DOT) Region 2 on March 4, 2025, at Go Hotels Plus, Tuguegarao City.
The event encouraged LGUs and stakeholders to boost their tourism initiatives through the different programs like TIEZA tourism projects, the Tourist Rest Area project, TCC, Tourism Road Infrastructure Program (TRIP), and DOT Accreditations.
The 175 participants who attended were Municipal Tourism Officers and Planning Development Officers from the different provinces, cities and municipalities of Region 2, Cagayan Valley.
